Your 97-year old father wants to die at home. He doesn’t understand that his house burned down six years ago. You want to make his final wish come true.

Thank god for sophisticated projection mapping systems and VR. Thank god for failing eyesight and slight geriatric confusion too.

One night you lace his tea with sleeping pills. While he’s out a veritable swat team descend with their cables, pulleys and stands. They fill your father’s nursing home room with screens and scrims and all manner of projections.

As your Dad slowly blinks his eyes open a solid 14 hour sleep later he’s transported back 20 or so years ago to number 41 Hilltop Drive.

“Thank you son” he calls from his bed “I don’t remember the drive but thanks for no longer lying to me about this. I’m glad you bought it back from the William’ses. I can finally relax”.
